コートヤードHIROOにて5/25(日)11:00～16:00で開催する「モチコミ HIROO Ping Pong Platz Opening Event & Mochitsuki」にて、コンテンポラリージュエリーブランド「EsTemporary」が出店いたします。
EsTemporaryは、ベルリンを拠点に活動するイタリア人デザイナーSilvia Piantini（シルビア・ピアンティーニ）が2007 年に立ち上げたコンテンポラリージュエリーブランドです。まるで身につける彫刻のような彼女のジュエリーは、幾何学的な構造や自然が作り出す形をインスピレーションに、自由な素材使いで自身のアイディアを形にしています。EsTemporary は、コレクション毎に異なるテーマ、素材、手法、デザイナーのパーソナルなストーリーや経験がエッセンスとなりつくられています。
Material
EsTemporay のジュエリーの特徴のひとつに、不規則なデザイン性とテクスチャーがあります。ステンレス、アクリル、レザーなど、シルヴィアが選ぶ素材は自然と身体に馴染み、素材本来の感触を残しながら、身につけやすくデザインされています。素材はすべてリサイクル素材・工業製品のスクラップを使い、ひとつひとつ丁寧に手作業でつくられています。素材選びから仕上げまで制作工程は非常に繊細です。一方で手作業だからこそひとつひとつのアイテムに個性・ディテールが生まれ、その中には不完全さも含まれます。
EsTemporary は不完全さに美しさを見出し、これはブランドを構築する大切な要素のひとつとなっています。
Silvia Piantini（シルビア・ピアンティーニ）
高校時代にジュエリーとプロダクトのデザインを学びながら、自身のコンテンポラリージュエリーとオブジェクトの創作をはじめました。主に身の回りにある素材をテーマに、人と環境の関係性、生活と人の身体はどう影響し合うのか、女性の身体やその形状についてなどがシルヴィアの主な研究対象でした。アートとファッション、手作業による製法、大量生産による環境問題、廃物となった資源など、彼女を取り巻く環境に影響を受けて活動しています。

EsTemporary jewels are UNIQUE and ARTISANAL , born with the aim to investigate and experiment the world of jewelry and amulets, through the influences of geometric structures, natural inspired shapes and the use of UNCONVENTIONAL MATERIALS underlining the beauty of imperfection.
Silvia Piantini creates LIMITED EDITIONS of CONTEMPORARY AMULETS,that are distribuited through selected stores and galleries in Europe. Each collection reflects on different themes, materials, manual processes,
personal stories and life experiences.Leather, stainless steel, acryl and all of that Silvia decides to use are molded into ERGONOMIC JEWELS that adapt comfortably to the body
and which retain an organic and raw feeling to them; all the EsTemporary pieces are carefully HANDCRAFTED using alternatively recycled materials,rests of industrial productions, natural and new elements.

ability in her productions). Inspired by her personal taste and influenced by the environment in which she lives, Silvia returns jewels that speak different languages.
PRODUCTION / MATERIALS
Most of the EsTemporary Jewels are often irregular and textured, this is intentional and a fundamental part of the design.EsTemporary jewels are 100% handcrafted artisanally using scraps and rest of different productions, or recovering existing and pre used objects and accessories. The greatest of care has been taken in the process of construction and in the choice of elements used to create the final pieces. Whereas this artisanal procedure guarantees that each item has its own individual characteristics and details, it may also mean that there could be some imperfections. We assure you that this is intentional and very important part of the design process and production.
ARTIST AND DESIGNER
Silvia Piantini is a multidisciplinary designer and artist from Italy.She started creating and self producing contemporary jewelry and objects while studying goldsmith and product design during high school.
Her artistic research and practice focuses on the study and experimentationof the materials that surround her, transforming them according to the issues on which she chooses to investigate: the relationships between
people and the environments in which they live, the relationships with everyday life and the interaction of the body , the proportions and the figure of the woman. The combination of art and fashion, artisan traditions, environmental issues related to overproduction, waste seen as resources and the relationship of identity, understood as interaction with the surrounding environment, are further issues that stimulate her practice.
